This is my shifter cable pull measuring tool. It is simply a cheap digital scale (commonly used for digital readouts on lathes and mills) with a cable housing stop placed on one side, a clamp for the cable in the middle, and a spring on the other. The most important thing is to have the cable housing stop in line with the cable clamp.
