AlexAndChristine > Nice pull-out cabinet for spices and everyday items.
AlexAndChristine > We gained a lot of space in this area by removing the old chimney(where the far right cabinet and microwave/convection oven now live.) The crown moulding on the top really finishes the look nicely. The refrigerator is new. The space for the refrigerator in the old kitchen was very small, where this space is a standard 36" wide. This let us put in a cabinet depth refrigerator.
AlexAndChristine > A new "proper" toaster and plenty of room for all the pint glasses.
AlexAndChristine > There is storage for baking dishes above the refrigerator.
AlexAndChristine > This is the cabinet that replaced the old chimney. The microwave is built in and also acts as a convection oven for baking. The cabinet above is 24" deep (twice as deep as a normal one) and holds almost all of our dishes. We added a half depth shelf for easier access.
