Seattle was trapped by low fog from an inversion layer. It was 20 degrees warmer and much sunnier in the mountains, so we abanonded Seattle for the hills.

AlexAndChristine > You can see the clouds hanging lower in the valley on the left side.  It was foggy and cold in Seattle, warm and sunny in the mountains (even the foothills)
