AlexAndChristine > Bringing a joint up to temp.
AlexAndChristine > Lee brazes in a sign support on his rack. Shot through didynium glasses, without that you'd see a huge orange cloud instead of through the flame to the metal.
AlexAndChristine > Adding brass. Not shot through didynium glasses so you get a big sodium flare.
AlexAndChristine > Alistair Spence rack jig (he showed me a drawing of it, I built it up this morning). It holds the rack platform and the bicycle fork together at the right orientation.
AlexAndChristine > A bit of 8020 in an H shape to hold the rack deck and some tubing and a threadless stem to hold the fork at the correct angle. This is going to make holding things together a lot easier.
AlexAndChristine > Lee's rack. The street sign was purchased from the City of Seattle for $5. Westlake is where the monthly Critical Mass and weekly Point83 rides start.
AlexAndChristine > This is a big and beefy rack.
AlexAndChristine > He plans on adding side rails and a couple of points for hooking the bungie cord.
AlexAndChristine > Andrew brazing on the main stays for his rack.
